Butte College provides quality education, services, and workforce training to students who aspire to become productive members of a diverse, sustainable, and global society. We prepare our students for life-long learning through the mastery of basic skills, the achievement of degrees and certificates, and the pursuit of career and transfer pathways. Butte College is located near the center of Butte County and also has satellite centers in Chico, and Glenn County.

The Glenn Adult Program provides lifelong educational learning opportunities and services to members of the Glenn County and surrounding communities. We offer a variety of classes to help adults complete or expand their education, acquire job skills, and enjoy personal growth.

Oroville Adult Education Career and Technical Centers offer adults academic programs including High School Diploma & GED, English as a Second Language (ESL) as well as various community education courses. Career training programs include Office Technology certification, and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training.

Since 1975, the Butte County Regional Occupational Program (ROP) has been serving Butte County by delivering high quality career education and employment training that provides high school students and adults the skills, knowledge and experience that lead to career success. ROP classes are taught by credentialed instructors who have trained and worked in the industry they are teaching. Paradise Unified School District (PUSD) adult school will provide prospective 18 years or older students opportunities to receive a high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate. Adults may choose either option of enrolling in classroom work for a diploma or studying for the HiSET test (equivalent to GED).
